Applying Generalizability Theory using EduG

Errata

An algorithmic error has been detected in EduG version 5, which was used to produce the analysis results presented and discussed in this book. Components of variance for interactions involving both fixed and random facets are not correctly computed. This does not in any way detract from the value of the book as a tutorial on the principles and practice of generalizability theory.

The software problem has been resolved in version 6, which is available for download under the name EduG 6.0e, from http://www.irdp.ch/edumetrie/englishprogram.htm.

You should download and use version 6 for any future work that you do with G theory. But continue to use EduG version 5, which is now available as PREVIOUS EduG from the same web address, whenever you work through the practice examples in Chapter 5.
