The diversity of subjects addressed demonstrates the breadth of the subject, and titles address the impact of the internet on culture, health, politics, business, religion, war and the military, education, planning and urban design, and the economy. Coverage is global, and includes the developing world, China and Japan as well as the West.
The collection includes a number of key works of reference such as Cyberculture: The key concepts and the Routledge Handbook of Internet Politics. Whilst the focus is on recent and current works, a handful of formative earlier works are also included, for example Paul Levinson's The Soft Edge and Frank Webster's Theories of the Information Society.
The collection will be updated with 10 new titles a year.
