About the Prize:
This is the first time the prize has been awarded, and is supported by the Studies in the Political Economy of Canada book series, and is named after the sponsor of the series at the University of Toronto Press, the late Rik Davidson. The prize is administered under the auspices of the journal Studies in Political Economy, with the jury this year consisting of Margie Mendel (Concordia University), Barbara Neis (Memorial University) Allan Moscovitch (Carleton University) and Leo Panitch (York University).
