Critical Realist Marxism of Education
To Be Published March 1st 2014 by Routledge – 228 pages
The book will argue that Marxism underlaboured by critical realism makes a significant difference not only to how education is viewed but also (potentially) in the practical realisation of education’s revolutionary impulse. It will build upon the work of the thesis by advancing what was imminent within it: the promise of critical naturalism and historical materialism to push beyond the traditional field bounds of a Marxist Sociology (of Education). The proposed title indicates this advance.
