This online streaming video database will provide readers of Contemporary Psychotherapies for a Diverse World with a unique visual teaching and learning tool. Based on the dynamic platform from the Alexander Street Press Counseling & Therapy database, this video package will feature 12 full length videos in a searchable format, with a running transcript displayed next to the video so students can follow along with the therapist-client dialogue. The videos were selected by the book's authors to illustrate each chapter/theory presented in the book. The Printed Access Card will allow students and professors to access the site for a 12-month period, providing uninterupted use of the video site for the duration of the semester.
The online streaming database of videos hosted by Alexander Street Press brings the theories of counseling and psychotherapy outlined in each chapter of Contemporary Psychotherapies for a Diverse World to life. Each video plays alongside a rolling transcript so students are sure to catch the key points that are demonstrated. An abstract provides a brief introduction to the content and a list of clips allow students and professors to jump to particular segments with a subject-specific focus. Each video also comes with a printable transcript and teaching guide.
