This five volume set reprints some of the most significant modern contributions to the study of classical Indian philosophy, one of the great philosophical traditions of the world. In order to make Indian philosophy accessible to Western philosophers, all selections are in English; in addition, the amount of unglossed Sanskrit terminology is minimal.
Roy W. Perrett is Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics, Charles Sturt University. He has published numerous books on Indian philosophy, including Hindu Ethics, Death and Immortality and Indian Philosophy of Religion. He is author of over 50 articles and reviews that explore Eastern and Western Philosophies.
