Author Bio

John Solomos is Professor of Sociology at City University London, where he directs the Centre on Race, Ethnicity and Migration. He is the author or editor of a number of books, including Race and Racism in Britain (2003) and Theories of Race and Racism: A Reader (co-editor with Les Back, 2009). He co-edits the international journal Ethnic and Racial Studies.
