RIPE Series in Global Political Economy

Series Editor: Jacqueline Best, Ian Bruff, Paul Langley, Anna Leander

The RIPE Series in Global Political Economy is a new forum for book-length contributions to current debates in IPE, for both specialists and a more general audience. The series will cover central topics in IPE as well as present innovative analyses of emerging issues in the global political economy. It aims for a broad range of perspectives in terms of theoretical orientation, geographic focus, and authors' country or region of origin, and to:

  • present books that transcend state-centred analysis and discourse
  • focus on the transnational/global character of the world political economy
  • provide relatively short, books which are designed to make key areas in IPE accessible to upper level under-graduate/graduate students and non-specialist audiences
  • publish major new contributions to the IPE literature for IPE specialists.
