Welcome to the 2013 Energy and Sustainable Built Environment Catalog
Welcome to the 2013 Energy and Sustainable Built Environment Catalog, showcasing our new titles and bestsellers in renewable energy policy and technology together with the sustainable built environment.
We are especially thrilled to have the new third edition of our bestselling title – Planning and Installing Photovoltaic Systems by German Solar Energy Society (DGS) publishing this year. This book has clocked up sales of over 10,000 copies in its earlier editions and it continues to be the go-to book for all PV practitioners worldwide. We also have The Energy of Nations by Jeremy Leggett which looks at securing tomorrow’s energy today. Other highlights include Business Models for Renewable Energy in the Built Environment by International Energy Agency (IEA-RETD) and new books by David Thorpe for the well-received Earthscan Expert Series on Energy Management.
In the built environment we continue expanding our list into the areas of sustainable transport, planning and urban design with titles on urban street design by Vikas Mehta and Planning Sustainable Transport by Barry Hutton. In sustainable architecture we have a great book on vernacular architecture edited by Simos Yannas and Willi Weber and we are also proud to once again be publishing the UN Habitat’s biannual report – State of the World’s Cities.
If you would like to see the full range of energy and sustainable built environment titles that we publish, please visit www.routledge.com where you will find quality resources for students, professionals, lecturers and researchers as well as general interest titles. We hope to meet many of you at the various conferences that we will be attending this year. Please do visit our Earthscan from Routledge stand and tell us what you think.
