Current Issues Series
The Current Issues series are designed to provide advanced students and researchers with brief edited monographs on a circumscribed topic, including review and original research.
Each volume in the series makes a conceptual contribution to the topic by reviewing and synthesizing the existing research literature, by advancing theory in the area, or by some combination of these missions. The volumes often also include an assessment of current knowledge and identification of possible future trends in research.
The volumes are edited by leading researchers in each particular topic and feature contributions from international experts. Each book is a self-contained unit supplying the advanced reader with a well-structured review of the work described and evaluated in a discrete area of Psychology.
