The Uttal Tetralogy of Cognitive Neuroscience: A 4-volume set

These four volumes were intended to provide a broad survey of cognitive neuroscience, a field known variously as physiological psychology or psychobiology in the 1970s and 1980s when the books were written. The emphasis is on sensory and perceptual topics. Out of print for many years, the Tetralogy is now available again, and can be purchased as a set for the first time, which is as the author envisaged it.

The Handbook of Learning and Cognitive Processes: A 6-volume set

Originally published between 1975 and 1978, these volumes survey the research and theory on learning and cognitive processes that were rapidly developing at the time.

Memory: A 27-volume set

The majority of the titles in this set were originally published in the 1970s and 1980s and reflect early research in a number of key areas. This is a uniquely comprehensive resource which traces the development of one of the major fields in cognitive psychology.

Psycholinguistics: A 7-volume set

Consisting of titles published between 1970 and 1990, this set reflects the growth of psycholinguistics as a serious scientific discipline in its own right.
